Mackenzie King Estate
Mackenzie King Estate was the summer retreat of Canada's longest-serving Prime Minister, William Lyon Mackenzie King, who held office from 1921 to 1948. Spanning 231 hectares within Gatineau Park, it features several cottages, stunning gardens, and an eccentric collection of architectural ruins King collected from across Canada and Europe. Trails include his favourite waterfall walk to Bridal Veil Falls. Moorside House now contains a tearoom and memorabilia. A peaceful place to explore nature and Canadian history.
