Lonely Beach is the historic backpacker heart of Koh Chang, located on the west coast between Kai Bae and Bailan. While it has changed since its heyday in the late 2010s, it still retains its laid-back character with budget hostels, beach bars, cafes, and yoga classes. The beach itself is small but charming, framed by rocks and surrounded by tattoo shops and bars serving cheap cocktails. Popular spots on the beach include Nature Rocks and Mimo beach bar where you can rent kayaks and paddleboards.
