Entrance Fee

Adult
1,000 PHP~1,000 $

₱1,000 per person (all-inclusive buffet lunch, cruise, and entertainment). Since April 2024, all operators adopted this standardized rate. Sunset dinner cruises available at select operators (₱1,200-1,500). Environmental levy of ₱25 expected from 2026.

Best Time to Visit

Year-round, but dry season (December to May) offers the best experience with clearest waters. Visit early (10:00-11:00 AM) to avoid crowds and peak tour bus times. December to February is peak season - book in advance. Rainy season (June-November) may see occasional cruise cancellations during heavy storms.

How to Get There

From Tagbilaran City: 30-45 minutes drive (24 km). Hire a private car/van (₱2,500-3,500/day) or join organized countryside tours (₱1,200-2,000). From Panglao Island: 45-60 minutes. No direct public transport - tricycles from Tagbilaran to Loboc are not practical. Most visitors combine with Chocolate Hills, Tarsier Sanctuary, and Man-Made Forest on a countryside day tour.

What to Expect

Board a spacious bamboo-roofed boat seating 40-50 guests. Cruise lasts 45-90 minutes along 5 km of pristine river. Enjoy unlimited Filipino buffet featuring chicken adobo, pancit, lechon kawali, grilled fish, shrimp, tropical fruits, and desserts like biko. Drinks included (iced tea, coffee). Watch live acoustic music and traditional folk dance performances by Busao and Dorol communities at mid-river platforms. Children under 3 eat free. Vegetarian options available upon request.

During peak season (December-February), advance booking is recommended through Klook or direct with operators like Loboc Riverwatch. During off-peak times, walk-ins are accepted but may require waiting 30-60 minutes for the next available boat departure.

All operators now charge the same ₱1,000 rate since April 2024. Loboc Riverwatch and Rio Verde are the largest with the most boats. Village Floating Resto and Rio Verde offer sunset dinner cruises. All provide similar buffet menus and cultural performances. The main differences are boarding locations: Loboc Tourism Complex (most operators) vs Loay Bridge (Riverwatch boats).
