Libearty is the world's largest brown bear sanctuary, spanning 69 hectares of oak and hazelnut forests in the Carpathian Mountains. It houses over 100 bears rescued from poor conditions in zoos, circuses, and private captivity. Guided tours allow seeing bears roaming freely, swimming in ponds, and climbing trees in their natural environment.
