How to Get There

Lempuyang Temple (Gates of Heaven) is in eastern Bali, 80 km from Ubud. By car or scooter — 2-2.5 hours. From Ubud — rent a car with driver (500,000-800,000 IDR per day) or book a tour. Taxi is expensive for this distance. Arrive early morning (5:00-6:00 AM) to avoid photo queues at the gates. Free shuttle from parking. Sarong required (can rent). Donation ~50,000 IDR.
