Lanikai Pillbox Trail (also known as Kaiwa Ridge Trail) is one of Oahu's most popular sunrise hikes. It leads to two WWII military pillboxes (bunkers) with breathtaking views of the Mokulua Islands, Lanikai Beach, and Kailua Beach. The 1.7-mile round-trip hike reaches 603 feet elevation.
Free. Parking is extremely limited and restricted 10 AM-4 PM. Best to park free at Kailua Beach Park and walk 20 minutes to trailhead.
