La Sebastiana
La Sebastiana is one of Chilean Nobel laureate Pablo Neruda's three homes, perched on Cerro Florida with spectacular views over Valparaíso Bay. Neruda built it as a ship on land, filled with his eccentric collections: antique maps, nautical instruments, stained glass, and curious objects from his travels. Each room reveals the poet's playful personality and love of the sea. A free audio guide leads you through five floors of creativity and imagination - from his writing desk overlooking the harbor to the rooftop terrace where he watched New Year's fireworks.
