La Lonja was the first Renaissance building in Zaragoza and one of the most important examples of civil Renaissance architecture in Spain. Built in the 16th century as a trading exchange, it features a majestic main hall with elegant columns and arches. Today it serves as an exhibition hall for contemporary and temporary art.
