Kunsthaus Zürich
The Kunsthaus Zürich is the largest art museum in Switzerland by area, housing one of the most significant art collections in the country spanning from the Middle Ages to contemporary art. The David Chipperfield-designed extension opened in 2021, doubling the exhibition space. The museum features an extensive collection of works by Alberto and Diego Giacometti, alongside exclusive documents relating to the Dada movement. The collection includes works by Picasso, Monet, Hodler, and other Swiss artists. The new wing showcases stunning modern architectural elegance — a light-filled, minimalist space that contrasts beautifully with the older classical Moser building from 1910. Refik Anadol's immersive digital installation based on glacier data is on display until March 2026.
