Kruger Night Drive
Night drives in Kruger National Park reveal a completely different world from daytime safaris. After sunset, nocturnal animals become active - leopards, hyenas, porcupines, bushbabies, honey badgers, civets, aardvarks, owls, and much more. Rangers use powerful spotlights to track glowing animal eyes in the darkness. Drives depart from most main camps after sunset and last approximately 2-3 hours, typically from 7:30pm to around 10pm. Excellent opportunity to see elusive leopards hunting, as they're primarily nocturnal. The sounds of the African night and the stunning stargazing add to the magic of the experience. Blankets are provided for cooler winter nights. Pre-booking is essential as spaces are limited. A unique way to experience Kruger's wildlife diversity that most day visitors miss.
