Kraton Yogyakarta

Kraton Yogyakarta is the palace of the Javanese Sultan, built in 1755 and still the residence of the current Sultan. As the center of Javanese culture and traditions, the vast complex features pavilions, courtyards, and museums. Visitors can see traditional Javanese architecture, royal artifacts, and batik costumes. Gamelan music and traditional dance performances are held daily.
