How to Get There

Monorail to Bukit Nanas (nearest) or Dang Wangi LRT — 15-20 min walk uphill. Free shuttle from gate to entrance every 15-30 min. Go KL bus (purple line) free. Grab/taxi ~10 min from center.

Observation deck (276 m) with panoramic windows, Sky Deck (300 m) open-air, Sky Box — glass cube over the void. Tower Walk 100 — outer rim walk for thrill-seekers. Gift shops, cafes.

KL Tower is a telecom tower (421 m), Petronas are twin office towers (452 m). KL Tower is cheaper, less crowded, observation deck higher (276 m vs Petronas floor 86 ~370 m). Best view OF Petronas Towers from here!

Glass cube extending from Sky Deck at 300 m height. Glass floor, walls and ceiling — feeling of floating over the city. For the brave! Included in Sky Deck ticket.

Atmosphere 360 (revolving restaurant) is closed due to legal issues. However, Mega View Banquet hall and other cafes in the tower are available.

Travel Tips

Useful tips for visiting KL Tower

Come at sunset (5:30-6:30 PM) — see the city in daylight and lit up at night. Online tickets cheaper and skip queues: ticket.kltower.com

Free shuttle from gate to entrance — no need to walk uphill. Or use free Go KL bus (purple line) to KL Tower stop.

Best view of Petronas from Sky Deck. For Sky Box selfies come on weekdays — shorter queue. From the base you can capture the full tower.
