Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park
Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, meaning 'Mountain with Three Hundred Peaks', was Thailand's first coastal national park, established in 1966. The park covers approximately 98 km², including Thailand's largest freshwater marsh, limestone hills rising up to 605 meters, mangrove forests, and beaches. The main attraction is the famous Phraya Nakhon Cave with its sunlit royal pavilion, but the park also features Kaeo Cave, Khao Daeng Viewpoint, and excellent birdwatching opportunities with over 300 species recorded.
