Kenrokuen Garden
Kenrokuen Garden ranks among Japan's three most beautiful gardens, developed by the ruling Maeda clan over two centuries. The name means 'Garden of Six Combined Attributes': spaciousness, seclusion, artificiality, antiquity, abundant water, and broad views. Highlights include the iconic two-legged Kotoji-toro lantern, Ganko-bashi bridge, and seasonal ponds and streams. Each season offers distinct beauty from cherry blossoms to snow-covered landscapes.
