Karon Beach is Phuket's second-longest beach, stretching over three kilometers along the west coast. It features fine white sand that produces a distinctive squeaking sound when walked upon while dry. The beach offers a more tranquil atmosphere than neighboring Patong with plenty of space to relax. The northern end is quieter and suitable for families, while the central area offers more amenities and activities including parasailing, jet skiing, and kayaking.
