Kandy Central Market is in city center, near the railway station. From Colombo by train to Kandy station (2.5-3 hours, scenic hill route). By bus from Colombo 3-4 hours. 5-minute walk from railway station. Market open daily from early morning. Lake Kandy and Temple of the Tooth nearby.
