Jatiluwih Rice Terraces
Jatiluwih Rice Terraces is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest and most beautiful rice paddies in Bali. Spanning over 600 hectares of working fields, they are maintained using the traditional subak irrigation system that dates back over a thousand years. Unlike the more crowded Tegallalang, Jatiluwih offers expansive panoramic views and a more peaceful atmosphere. Walking trails allow visitors to explore the terraces and watch farmers working with traditional methods. The site represents the perfect harmony between humans and nature.
