Jaszczurówka Chapel
Jaszczurowka Chapel is a wooden masterpiece designed by Stanislaw Witkiewicz in 1904-1908, considered the finest example of the 'Zakopane Style' that uniquely combines highland folk art with Art Nouveau elements. The chapel features intricate woodcarving, stained glass windows, and an ornately decorated ceiling. The basement houses a gallery of religious folk art open during summer. Still an active place of worship, the chapel also hosts weddings. Its location among tall pines adds to the atmospheric setting that makes it a must-visit for architecture and photography enthusiasts visiting Zakopane
