Jantar Mantar

Jantar Mantar is a historic astronomical observatory built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in 1724. It contains massive stone instruments designed for observing celestial body movements and measuring time. One of five similar observatories in India, the Delhi Jantar Mantar was the first to be built.
