Jack London Lake is a stunning remote mountain lake in the wild Kolyma region, named after a book by the American writer was found on its shore. The narrow lake stretches 10 km between rocky peaks in a subarctic landscape. The region is famous for vibrant autumn colors, intense short summers, and winter northern lights. Access is extremely challenging — requires 4WD vehicle and river crossing.
