Imam Turki bin Abdullah Grand Mosque
Imam Turki bin Abdullah Grand Mosque is the largest and oldest mosque in Riyadh, built during the reign of Imam Turki bin Abdullah around 1830 and completely rebuilt in 1992 in Modern Najdi style. It accommodates 17,000 worshippers and features unique architectural design blending tradition with modernity. It received the Aga Khan Award for Architecture in 1995. Located beside Deera Square and Qasr al-Hokm compound, it serves as an important religious and cultural center in the heart of the old city.
