The Icefields Parkway (Highway 93) is one of the world's most spectacular mountain drives, stretching 232 kilometers between Lake Louise and Jasper. It passes more than 100 glaciers, countless turquoise lakes, and majestic peaks. Major highlights include the Columbia Icefield and Glacier Skywalk, Athabasca Falls, Peyto Lake, Sunwapta Falls, Bow Lake, and Mistaya Canyon. Allow 5-8 hours to properly experience the route with stops. The road is open year-round but may close in winter due to avalanche control.
