Hua Hin Railway Station
Hua Hin Railway Station is one of Thailand's oldest and most beautiful train stations, originally built in 1911 during the reign of King Rama VI. The structure seen today dates from 1926 and is a masterpiece of traditional Thai architecture with red lacquered roof beams and yellow walls. The most distinctive feature is the Phra Mongkut Klao Pavilion, a four-gabled royal waiting room. In December 2023, operations moved to a new station, but the historic building has been preserved as a museum and cultural landmark, featuring a vintage 305 Unit Baldwin steam locomotive on display.
