Hinagdanan Cave
Hinagdanan Cave is a natural limestone cave in Dauis, Panglao Island, discovered by a local farmer who noticed his cow had fallen through a hole in the ground. The name "Hinagdanan" means "laddered" in the local dialect, referring to the bamboo ladder originally used to descend into the cave. Inside, visitors discover a magical underground world featuring impressive stalactites and stalagmites formed over thousands of years, surrounding a warm underground lagoon with crystal-clear water. Sunlight filters through natural holes in the ceiling, creating ethereal light beams that illuminate the cave's interior.
