Hin Bida (Phi Phi Shark Point)
Hin Bida, also known as Phi Phi Shark Point, is a large submerged rocky outcrop about 8 km southeast of the Bida islands. Rising from a sandy bottom at 18 meters to break the surface at low tide, it's the best place in Phi Phi to spot leopard sharks resting and sleeping on the sandy bottom. The reef is exceptionally colorful with large schools of snapper, cuttlefish, octopus, turtles, harlequin shrimp, lionfish, and occasional whale sharks passing through.
