Hellbrunn Palace
Hellbrunn Palace is an early Baroque pleasure palace built in 1619 for Prince-Archbishop Markus Sittikus. World-famous for its unique trick fountains that have amazed visitors for over 400 years with playful water surprises from hidden jets and spouts. The extensive gardens feature grottos, sculptures, and a water-powered mechanical theater. Located six kilometers south of the old town, it ranks among Salzburg's most popular attractions and also houses the Folklore Museum.
