Haute Cabrière
Haute Cabrière is a unique winery located within a natural cave in the foothills of the Franschhoek mountains. Founded by Achim von Arnim, a pioneer of Cap Classique method sparkling wine in South Africa, it's famous for sabrage - the art of opening champagne bottles with a sword, a Napoleonic tradition. The underground tasting room offers an exceptional atmosphere. The Saturday Cellar Master's Tour with Achim and his son Takuan is a legendary experience featuring the sabrage ritual.
