Hassan Tower
Hassan Tower is an unfinished 12th-century minaret that was intended to be part of the largest mosque in the Islamic world. Construction began in 1195 under the Almohad ruler Yacoub al-Mansour but halted after his death in 1199. The tower reaches 44 meters, though it was planned for 86 meters. It features remarkable geometric ornamentation and a distinctive pink hue. The site is surrounded by stone columns from the incomplete mosque, creating a majestic scene particularly stunning at sunset.
