Hangar-7 is a stunning architectural landmark at Salzburg Airport housing a collection of historic aircraft, Formula 1 racing cars, and contemporary art. Designed by architect Volkmar Burgstaller with its futuristic glass dome structure, it has been an iconic destination since 2003. Home to the Michelin-starred Restaurant Ikarus and Carpe Diem Lounge cafe. Exhibition admission is completely free.
Weekday mornings are quietest. Sunday closes earlier at 17:00. Check website for event closures.
