HafenCity
HafenCity is Europe's largest inner-city urban development project on the Elbe River in Hamburg. This modern district is home to the world-famous Elbphilharmonie concert hall, the International Maritime Museum, and the historic Sandtorhafen traditional ship harbour. The Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier opened in April 2025 as a premier shopping and entertainment destination featuring Port des Lumières, northern Germany's largest immersive art exhibition. The area stretches along the waterfront with contemporary restaurants and cafes offering harbor views, blending futuristic architecture with Hamburg's rich maritime heritage.
