Useful tips for visiting Haeundae Beach
In summer come early morning (before 9 AM) or evening — nowhere to step during day. On July-August weekends beach closes for swimming when visitor limit exceeded.
Promenade along beach — great for evening stroll. Seaside restaurants, street food, live music in summer.
Dongbaek Island — free 40 min walk around island with views of Gwangan Bridge and city. Start from APEC House.
Winter light festival on beach (December-February). Beautiful installations in evening, few tourists.
