Entrance Fee

₱50 entrance fee per person. Fresh coconut from the caretaker ₱50. Snorkeling gear rental available from boats or Daku Island (₱150-200).

Best Time to Visit

Early morning (7-9 AM) offers the best conditions - calm seas, excellent snorkeling visibility, and fewer visitors. March to May (dry season) provides the best weather. The island can get crowded during peak tour hours (10 AM - 2 PM).

How to Get There

Only accessible by boat as part of island hopping tours or private boat charter. Located about 2 km from General Luna, it's typically the first or last stop on the Tri-Island Tour. Boat ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes from General Luna.

What to Expect

Expect a tiny tropical paradise - the island is so small you can explore it in minutes. About 100 coconut palms provide some shade. The surrounding coral formations offer great snorkeling with colorful fish and healthy corals. A friendly caretaker lives on the island and will climb trees to get you fresh coconut (₱50). Basic facilities only - no restrooms or food vendors. The white sand beach is beautiful for photos.

faq.subtitle Guyam Island

Most island hopping tours allocate 20-30 minutes for Guyam Island, which is enough to walk around, take photos, enjoy the beach, and do some quick snorkeling. If you charter a private boat, you can request more time to fully enjoy the snorkeling around the coral formations.
