Gülhane Park is the oldest and one of the largest public parks in Istanbul, covering 9.7 hectares adjacent to Topkapi Palace. The name means 'Rosehouse' in Persian. A perfect escape from the city bustle, it transforms into a sea of tulips during the annual Tulip Festival in spring (March-April).
