Guadalajara Cathedral
Guadalajara Cathedral is the city's symbol with its distinctive twin towers featuring yellow and blue tiles. Built between 1561 and 1618, it's a stunning blend of Gothic, Baroque, neoclassical and Tuscan architectural styles. The cathedral houses a painting 'The Virgin' attributed to Murillo and numerous art treasures. It remains an active place of worship and one of the most important religious landmarks in western Mexico.
