Great Theatre of Ephesus
The Great Theatre of Ephesus is the largest theatre in ancient Asia Minor, seating 25,000 spectators. Originally built in the Hellenistic period and expanded under Emperors Claudius and Trajan, it hosted theatrical performances, animal fights, and political assemblies. This is where silversmiths rioted against Apostle Paul as described in Acts of the Apostles. The acoustics remain remarkable - a whisper from the stage can be heard in the top rows.
