faq.subtitle Museum of the Great Patriotic War

In former Soviet countries, the Eastern Front of WWII (1941-1945) is called the Great Patriotic War. Belarus suffered enormously - losing about 25% of its population, more than any other Soviet republic. The museum focuses on this period of German occupation and Soviet resistance.

The museum contains graphic wartime images and emotionally intense content. Its educational for older children and teenagers studying WWII history. For families with young children, parental discretion is advised. Free entry for children in families of 3+ on weekends.
