One of the oldest and best-preserved mosques in China, founded in 742 AD during the Tang Dynasty. Uniquely blends traditional Chinese architecture with Islamic design. Still an active mosque serving the local Hui Muslim community.

Visit after 10am when shops open. Avoid Friday afternoon (main prayer time). Modest dress required. Non-Muslims cannot enter the main prayer hall.
