Grand Anse Beach La Digue
Grand Anse is a wild, stunning beach on La Digue's southeast coast, featuring a long stretch of pristine white sand framed by lush green hills. Unlike other La Digue beaches, it faces the open ocean creating powerful waves and dangerous currents - swimming is NOT recommended due to strong offshore currents and dead coral near shore. The beach is perfect for photography, walking, and sunset watching. Very little shade available so bring sun protection. Access is by bike (15 min from La Passe) or on foot.
