The Graeco-Roman Tombs are an archaeological site featuring tombs dating back to the Graeco-Roman period. Located near Agiba Beach, they offer insight into the ancient history of Marsa Matruh when it was called 'Amunia' - the starting point of the route to Siwa and the Temple of Amun. The site reveals the region's importance during the time of Alexander the Great.
