One of the most famous viewpoints in the Alps, accessible via the historic Gornergrat cogwheel railway. At 3089 meters, the platform offers panoramic views of 29 four-thousand-meter peaks including the Matterhorn, Monte Rosa, and the mighty Gorner Glacier - the second longest glacier in the Alps. The train journey itself is spectacular, passing through forests, over old stone bridges, and through tunnels. At the summit you will find the historic Kulmhotel, a small chapel, and a restaurant with a sun terrace.
