Glockenspiel
The Graz Glockenspiel is a charming carillon located in the facade of a historic building at Glockenspielplatz square. Three times daily at 11:00, 15:00, and 18:00, 24 bells chime with changing melodies while a wooden couple in traditional Styrian costume emerges from the gable windows and rotates. The melodies change five times per year, ranging from yodeling tunes to alpine songs. Installed in 1905, the Glockenspiel has become a beloved tourist attraction. Note: As of recent reports, the mechanism may be under repair - check current status before timing your visit around it.
