Janiculum Hill
Janiculum Hill offers Rome's best panoramic view, stretching from St. Peter's dome to the Colosseum. Though not one of Rome's seven legendary hills, it's the highest and most impressive viewpoint in the city. The summit features the imposing Garibaldi equestrian statue and the famous noon cannon that fires daily. Sunday puppet shows delight children at the park. Walk through the beautiful tree-lined paths and visit the Fontanone dell'Acqua Paola on your way up from Trastevere.
