Geyser Lake Altai
Geyser Lake (also known as Blue or Silver Lake) is a unique small lake near the famous Chuysky Tract. About 25-30 meters in diameter and 2 meters deep, it features constantly changing circular patterns formed by blue clay rising from the lake bottom through underground springs. The stunning turquoise color and moving shapes create a unique surreal effect reminiscent of abstract art. The lake is located at km 796 of Chuysky Tract, about 6 km from Aktash village (10 minutes by car). Easy to visit as a stop on Chuysky Tract road trips.
