Gediminas Tower
Gediminas Tower is the remaining part of the Upper Castle of Vilnius, standing atop Gediminas Hill 48 meters above the city. Built in the 14th century, it is the most recognizable symbol of Lithuania, appearing on currency and national emblems. The museum inside houses exhibitions on the history of Vilnius from medieval times to the present. The observation platform offers a breathtaking 360-degree panorama encompassing the Old Town, the Neris River, and the modern city skyline. The funicular is currently out of service due to renovation work, so visitors must walk up via paths from Bernardine Garden or Cathedral Square side
