The Gate of the Dead, also known as the Ghost Gate, is the southeastern gate of Angkor Thom. It was used for funeral processions and leads directly to the Ta Prohm temple area. It features the same four giant faces and causeway decorated with gods and demons, but is the least visited of Angkor Thom's five gates making it ideal for quiet contemplation and atmospheric photography
