Fukuoka Tower
Fukuoka Tower is Japan's tallest seaside tower at 234 meters. Its elegant triangular design covered with over 8,000 half-mirrors earned it the nickname 'Mirror Sail'. The observation deck at 123 meters offers 360-degree panoramic views of Fukuoka city, Hakata Bay, and surrounding mountains. Recognized as a 'Lovers' Sanctuary', the tower features enchanting LED illuminations at night that change with seasons and special occasions. The tower was built for the 1989 Asia Pacific Expo and remains Fukuoka's most iconic modern landmark.
