Fujairah Fort is one of the oldest and largest forts in the UAE, dating back to the 16th century. Located on a rocky hill, it offers panoramic views over the city and surrounding mountains. The fort was meticulously restored between 1997-2000 using traditional materials including rock, gravel, mud, hay, and plaster. It features three main watchtowers and various halls used historically for defense and governance.
