Freiburg Minster
Freiburg Minster is a Gothic masterpiece that took over 300 years to complete, with construction beginning around 1200 AD. Its 116-meter west tower is one of the few Gothic church spires completed in medieval times. Visitors can climb 333 steps for panoramic views stretching to the Black Forest and French Vosges Mountains. The cathedral features magnificent stained glass windows and intricate red sandstone sculptures. Entry to the cathedral is free, while the tower climb requires a small fee.
