Fram Museum
The Fram Museum is dedicated to Norwegian polar exploration and houses the legendary Fram ship - the strongest wooden ship ever built that still holds records for sailing farthest north and south. Visitors can board the ship, explore the cabins, and see how the crew and their dogs survived in Earth's most dangerous places. The museum features a polar simulator, exhibits on Roald Amundsen's expeditions including his aerial expedition over the North Pole. The Oscar-winning Kon-Tiki documentary is shown daily.
