Fort Aguada is Goa's best-preserved Portuguese fortress, built in 1612 to defend against Dutch and Maratha invasions. Features Asia's oldest lighthouse (1864) and panoramic views of the Arabian Sea. The name means 'Watering Place' - it supplied freshwater to passing ships.
